In many cultures rocks are symbols of luck, energy and long-life tool. The symbolism of stones centers on ideas of endurance, stability, and permanence. They represent the ability to be grounded and connected with the earth. Stones are strong, versatile, and easily accessible. Stones are also used for specific purposes such as paving, building, collecting, metaphysical purposes, protection, and jewelry making.
