Who doesn’t love to finish off an outfit with a piece of jewelry that matches perfectly with what you are wearing? Sometimes, the piece speaks to you so much that you buy the clothes to match the jewelry.

Jewelry is an eclectic piece of iconography that expresses who you are. Jewelry can tell a story, be sentimental, or share a sentiment. Jewelry is as personal as a diary. Jewelry can make you feel sexy, and feminine, or as bold and confident as you need to be.

I have been designing jewelry and collecting and digging for "rocks" since I was 7 years old. I loved going to Colorado with my family, because I knew that I would bring back a ton of beautiful rocks. As I learned more about the "rock collection" I carried with me, I found that I had semi-precious to precious stones in my little red suitcase, that held my beloved rocks.

Some stones were so beautiful I wanted them with me all the time! This is when I tried different ways to attach the rocks to wire, leather or hemp rope. This didn't always look fashionable, but I had my beautiful rock with me!

As I got older my grandmother taught me different techniques that her mother, and grandmother had taught her. Techniques, designs, symbols and their meaning all passed down from the Chickasaw people. I spent a great deal of time learning from my grandmother who came from a long line of artists, silversmiths, and woodworkers.

I am proud the story continues, and with my art training, working with wire, glass, and soldering techniques, I learned to create beautiful organic jewelry. And to my surprise it was jewelry that people wanted. I couldn't believe it!

My designs have a very primitive, organic handmade feel to them. There is a difference between "home-made" and "Hand-made." All of my creations are designed with a specific stone, and metal to create a certain mood, emotion, or healing property.
